We provide a comprehensive ambulatory service in the Macedon Ranges, including poor performance, lameness, reproduction and wellness consultations. Our team uses advanced diagnostic equipment, including ultrasonography and digital radiography.
Stud Services
We offer on-farm services to local Thoroughbred farms, including breeding management, yearling sales radiography and emergency care.
Dentistry
Regular dental examinations are essential to maintain a healthy, comfortable mouth. We perform dental examination and treatments under sedation.
Reproduction
We offer ambulatory reproductive services with a focus on stud medicine. At this time we are unable to offer frozen breeding or embryo transfer.
Lameness
We carry-out lameness investigations on-farm and are equipped to perform ultrasonography and digital radiography where indicated. At the time of booking, we will request a detailed clinical history to ensure sufficient time is allocated for a thorough diagnostic work-up and assessment.
Pre-Purchase Examination
A pre-purchase examination is an essential step in selecting your next equine partner. All examinations are performed in accordance with EVA guidelines to provide a thorough clinical assessment and an accurate risk profile for your prospective purchase.
Wellness
Wellness exams are designed to support the ongoing health, performance and wellbeing of your horse at every stage of life. Routine assessments may include a vaccination and parasite control review, nutritional and weight assessment, bloodwork and investigation of any emerging concerns.
